Have you ever wondered why we have so many issues in society?
We’ll, it really starts in childhood. The investment we do with our children. I have 4 adult children, 1 eleven-year-old and 7 grandchildren.

Sure, nature verses nurture is a big question. But to be honest, it is critical for children to get lots of hugs, and told they are loved and accepted as toddlers.

They won’t always remember much more than a picture in their heads but the ones who are loved will grow up to feel secure and will most likely will be more confident as adults.

Sure, the reality, there’s more that will play into this. Like innate personalities, the people our kids will meet, etc.
Truly, as parent, grandparents etc, we are all responsible for trying to give our kids the best raising we can.

My family isn’t perfect, but we all take turns on watching kids and helping each other.
Currently, I have all 8 kids on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I start my mornings getting the 2 babies, Trinity who’s almost 2 years old and Jenna who’s 3.
We are potty training. They both love getting a sticker when they go potty in the potty.

Believe me, I’m always on the run taking the potty cup in to dump it, the babies have a blast going into flush the toilet.
I have dinner already on, by the time the other 6 get off the school bus.

We sit down to read of 30 minutes. Nikki and Nadia are both six years old and they reading the “I see Sam” series with me. This has been great to boost their self confidence in reading. The oldest 4 kids, Isabella 8 years old, Chase 9 years old, Heather & Christopher both 11 years old will read as a group in a separate room.

I feel reading as a family, really helps to build a love for books and school.
Kids then practice their taekwondo moves for 10 minutes. Then we go to Taekwondo on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Taekwondo is great to teach self discipline, and it helps the kids learn to defend themselves later in life.

The rest of the week, my daughter-in-laws and sons take turns watching the kids. It’s nice to know that the kids are always safe and the kids best interest is being put first.

The future is in the kids hands, so it’s really important to give the best raising that you can.

In the end, our kids are our legacy and what we leave behind is the values and training we did.
